So, i did this ink portrait the other day and wasn't sure what to do with it. its not finished yet, so i played around on photoshop and colored it. then i got weird and made a fake polaroid, and then i got weirder and made some photo collages.

so, it's sort of like I Spy, except not...

A very long time ago, I found a book entitled "Shadows Move Among Them". I painted inside, and did a bunch of transfers from xeroxed drawings. I found it again, so here it is! :

I recently did a custom piece for Martha Ellen Van Gemert over at Head Chop. It's a nice big collage version of my re-occurring wigs that I love so much. Super fun to do, I think I may do more in the future....

More collage stuff-- I also re-did a cover for The Brothers Karamazov. It's meant to loosely represent the three Karamazov brothers within the idea of a menippean satire, in which they coexist as Heaven, Earth, and Hell with no defined hierarchy. BUT, literary theories aside-- I firmly believe that if you're going to spend three or four months getting through a Dostoevsky novel, it should at least be nice to look at.

A very quickly made CAT GIF. Because who doesn't love those? These are scans from big screen prints on 11x17 newsprint. The paper is painted/sponged individually before screening the cat on top.
