The opening was great, thanks to everyone who came out!
I'll have more photos soon of some of my work I made for the show. All the work (myself, Paul Richard, Chris Uphues, and Clint Van Gemert is still up for another week or two, so swing by if you're in Brooklyn!
Did a portrait of Brian McGreevy (he created "Hemlock Grove") for the newest issue of Nylon Guys. Try to ignore the guy on the cover and just look for the McGreevy article....

In other news, NEW ZINE in the shop, it's about Freud. You should read it.
The theme for this issue was plants, and I did some mycology-inspired girls (technically fungi, but who cares). There are some really amazing contributors involved in this zine, definitely go buy it ASAP before it's sold out!

Making It:
A new zine curated by Aria McManus, with a really diverse group of contributors from all mediums and backgrounds. The first ever issue launches at Printed Matter in NYC on March 22nd, 6-8pm, or buy it online here. Limited edition of 250 copies, so grab it fast.
(My contribution is top secret until you buy it--but I'll give you a hint: it involves a creepy priest.)
This is from a series of 10 "Commandments" drawings that I did for a Parsons class. I'll put the rest of the series up soon, but "To Covet" is apparently the most popular sin. At SOI, anyway...
Pleased to announce that two of my (favorite) pieces from the Night Religion series were selected for Illustrators 55, the annual exhibition at the Museum of American Illustration. Both were chosen for the uncommissioned category (Part one of the two-part show) and they are currently hanging at Society of Illustrators until the 26th.
I haven't yet made it up to see the show, but be sure to go before the end of the month if you're in NYC-- lots of great illustrators and beautiful work by my contemporaries...
Plus, my pieces are framed really nicely and look pretty.
